Bihar lies between the West Bengal in the east and Uttar Pradesh in the west. It is bounded by Nepal in the north and by Jharkhand in the south. The Bihar plain is divided into two unequal halves by the river Ganga which flows through the middle from west to east. There are losts of tourism opportunities in Bihar, but due to inactive and laclusture working pattern of the state goverments since last 25 years, Bihar has not been able to exploit its opportunities in tourism sector.
